Bear Archery The Truth 2

Bear Archery The Truth 2 Compound Bow

The end result of a collaboration between the hunting experts at Bear and Primos®, the Truth 2 compound bow delivers big energy (up to 318 fps) with incredibly smooth, quiet accuracy shot after shot. The Truth 2’s Perimeter-Weighted Modular Single Cam system provides the power to accurately launch arrows at speeds up to 318 fps shot after shot with a let off of 80%. This powerful cam rotates quietly on a sealed stainless steel bearing and reduces cable friction with a asymmetric power track for higher performance and longer cable life.

Bear’s patented compression molded Flare Quad limbs spread the stress of draw and release out evenly, delivering a smooth, quiet shot without vibration. “Zero tolerance fit” aluminum pivoting limb cups reduce limb vibration through its rubber isolation boots, which prevent any direct vibration from the limbs to the riser. Axle-mounted weighted dampeners provide top vibration absorption thanks to positioning at the far end of the limbs.

The superior forgiveness and accuracy of the Truth 2 comes courtesy of the 7” brace height and Bear’s minimized reflex machined 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum riser. Dual riser-integrated arc string suppressors reduce noise and vibration further by calming the string quickly after release. The Truth 2’s one-piece synthetic grip absorbs vibration even more while providing the warmest grip available in cold weather.

The high performance, ultra-quiet Bear Archery The Truth 2 Compound Bow brings all of these design innovations and improvements together in one bow to give serious bowhunters the smooth, consistent, accurate, hard hitting power they deserve shot after shot after shot. Realtree® APG HD® finish. Axle-to-axle length: 33”. Bow weight: 3.9 lbs.

I have recently shot the truth II it is a decent bow with little vibration or shock at the hand. However I think it is way over priced for the bow it is you can get a much better bow in the same price range. Hope this helps happy hunting

I got this the other day, and I dont see anything to complain about it. Although its a little high on price, its well worth it. Im only 18, and this is my second bow, and probably my last. Shoots good, pretty quiet, and has a lot of good features. The looks of this bow, in my opinion, are the best ive seen. Primos and Bear did a fantastic job of designing it. I was a little iffy to buy it, but i am sure glad i talked myself into it. I suggest this to anyone that loves the primos or bear line of products.

I would rather be shooting Done Deal than The Truth 2 for $120.00 less. Was not very impressed based on the fact that the string keep coming off the bottom part of string tamer after the let off. I thought that Fred Bear improved their upgrade of The Truth but I was dead wrong. The Truth’s way better than the The Truth 2. As for 2008 model, I take Done Deal any day. The speed’s compromised and noticed more controllable after the string let off and hit both string tamers each time out. A bit lighter and .75″ shorter, too.

The Truth II is an excellent choice for anyone looking to get their hands on a great bow. I shot one earlier this week and I must say that I was truly impressed. It is a very smooth bow from the draw all the way through the shot, which makes it very handy in a treestand as well as on the ground floor. The back wall is distinct but not too harsh and the let off is incredible. There is zero hand shock and no noise out of the box, thus elliminating the need for ad-on dampners. With an IBO of 314-318 it gets dwon range in a hurry, even with a hunting arrow. Another nice feature is how light it is, which comes in very handy in any circumstance. If you are considering buying a new bow this year make sure to include the Truth II in your selection, you won’t be disappointed.

Have shot an Oneida Screaming Eagle for 20 years. My grandson just got a bear youth bow and was out-shooting me.
I purchased the Truth II and in less than a week was shooting 280 out of 300 in competition…Am planning on a Turkey hunt next month. Have no doubts that the Tom’s have no chance against the Truth II. I don’t think they can handle the Truth!!
Very smooth draw. No hand vibration and very quiet..
Put this bow in your”got to have” book..”
