I am 13 years old and this is my second bow that I have owned and I have found it to be very accurate. The first thing that I would of changed is the cobra fiber optic sights, it would probably be worth the time and money to upgrade to a higher quality sight. This is a great starter bow and would probably be a good bow to the more advanced archer if it has high enough poundage. In my back yard it is accurate enough to hit a target up to 2-4 inches long and wide up to 15-25 yards. I expect it to be able to shoot far enough and still be accurate to go deer hunting. I am excited to try it out at a farther range since I am shooting at the farthest spot in my back yard. I look forward to try it in the field for hunting coyote or rabbit. The other great thing about parker bows is that you can upgrade it to a higher poundage

After doing EXTENSIVE research on this bow and other youth bows the Parker is the best value out there. The components are much better than Diamond’s Edge. I wouldn’t let my son buy the Edge and helped cover the $$$ so he could buy the Rock, a very nice bow by the way. This bow was purchased for my 8 year old daughter and is her first compound bow. Out of the box this evening she was shooting good groups at 10 yards with a release. To me the best deal is the Grow with Parker program. They will upgrade limbs from 20-30 to 30-40 all the way to the 40-50 set for $50 each trade. My son was quoted a price of $165 to do the same with his Diamond bow. Enough said. The research on Parker’s customer service also appears to be top notch. They have found a niche in the marketplace with this package and even have a PINK camo pattern available. Do your own research and you will not find a better valued package. Get your kids started right with quality equipment and success not garage sale junk and no success!

I am new to archery, and due to recent health problems, have lost a lot of strength. With this bow, 30- 40 lb. draw weight, I was able to start at 30 lbs. and raise it as my strength returns. Am now at 37 lbs., and when I get to 40 lbs., I can send it back to the factory, and for $50 they will put new limbs on it to raise it to 40-50 lb. draw. The bow is very accurate and quiet. I have enjoyed shooting it very much, and am looking forward to my first archery hunt with it

“I’m female, 31 and left handed. Not an easy combination when it comes to finding a bow. One of the employees (sorry, cant remember his name) at the Sidney store helped me select this side-kick and did a great job tweeking it until it ‘fit’. I love how it feels and shoots. I really liked that it came as a package, so I didn’t have to figure out what I needed. It’s so adjustable and easy to upgrade, I’d highly reccomend it to women and kids.”

“I’m a 40 yr. old, vertically challenge hunter with a 23″ draw. Tried several bows out there and none beat the parker. smooth, accurate, and priced right. Very happy.”

I’M GLAD EVERYONE HAD SUCH GOOD EXPERIANCE WITH THIS BOW. I AM WILLING TO BET THAT ALL OF YOU ARE ALSO RIGHT HANDED. I AM IN THE PROCESS OF RETURNING (AT MY EXPENSE) MY SECOND LEFT HANDED SIDE-KICK XP TO PARKER. THIS TIME THEY TELL ME THEY HAVE KNOWN OF THE FLAW AND WILL FIX IT… I DONT THINK SO… THIS HAS COST ME 2 HUNTNG TRIP IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN. I WILL GIVE PARKER THE CREDIT IN A GOOD LOOKING BOW FOR WOMEN AND FOR AT LEAST THE ATTEMPT TO TRY TO GEAR SOMETHING TOWARD WOMEN AT A REASONABLE PRICE. BUT IF THEY FIND A FLAW THEY NEED TO LET THERE CUSTOMER KNOW OF THE FLAW AND OFFER TO PAY TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I THINK I SPENT ENOUGH ON THIS BOW AND WAITED 3 MONTHS FOR THE FIRST TO ARRIVE THEN HAD TO RETURN IT AND WAIT FOR THE SECOND ONE ONLY TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM…..THIS TOTALLY BLEW MY HUNTING SEASON.
