Just put new orange and black strings from crackers on my carnivore 34. Shooting 29 1/2 at #65. After set up and tuning I got it shooting darts. I initially started out when I got the bow with goldtip 5575"s and found out that they were way under spined, but even with the underspined arrows I consistently had under 3" groups at 30 yards. Which for the most part is the best I can do for now "just getting back into shooting after about 8 years off". Tonight I tried some goldtip ultralight pro 300's that I purchased from a fellow AT'er and after re-setting my rest back to true center I had it shooting nice bullet holes through the paper which I couldn't get with the 5575's no matter how far I adjusted the rest out of center. It is one sweet shooter.

I have a Ross Carnivore 34 and to say I'm impressed with the Bow would be a Big understatement!!

I used it in NE to tag 2 Merriam Turkeys.

From the time I got the bow, set it up, tuned it, and sighted it in, I was Impressed.

The Bow is very Stable, Super Smooth to Draw, Holds & aims like a rock, and groups arrows tight.

I may have to have another one. Either the 31 or the 37. Anyone shopping for a New hunting bow in the $600 range would be doing themselves a Great injustice if they did Not take time to shoot the Carnivore!!

I have drawn the Swat, but I have not shot it. IBO they are within 2 fps, and price is pretty much the same. Shoot them both! One should stand out after you shoot a while.

Have a 2009 Ross Carnivore 34 28.5"/set dead on 70#, Sword Twilite hunter, QAD Pro LD, Simms S-Coil stab, stock strings (waiting on H&M's to get here) 1/4" Meta peep, 28" Goldtip XT 7595 with Onestringer wraps and 3 Razyr feathers, was hitting a bit right so adjusted the sight and hit a robinhood 4th arrow in! Started my walkback at my standard 20 yards for first arrow, then 30, 40, 50, and 60. 60 is all the farther I can go in my yard. Have white wraps, feathers and nocks so it was hard to see where I was hitting. Now most bows I walkback tune are easy to do as I can see the progression of them "falling" down the plumb line as I shoot. I walked up to the target and they were basically grouped. Only one was about 12 inches low. So I go grab same arrows but with tracer nocks. To my amazement the 20, 30, and 40 yard arrows were within 3 or 4 inches of each other, the 50 was only about 6 inches low and the 60 about 12 inches. I've NEVER had a bow shoot this flat. I tried this same walkback 6 times to see if I got the same results and I did!!! I'm amazed by this!!! I go grab my Ross 331 and 334, use same arrows and same walkback and get my standard 3 foot or so spread on my arrows.

WOW what a flat shooting bow! It is not very fast, but wow it is smooth, quiet, and now I know it is SUPER flat shooting! I need to do the same test with broadheads to see what results I get.
