“”I just received my 2011 Barnett Ghost 400 from Bass Pro Shop today (5/21/2011). This is my first crossbow that feel very comfortable. I had the Excalibur Equinox which was very heavy and difficult to draw back so I return it. What a difference with the Barnett Ghost 400, much easier to draw back, and the weight of this crossbow is awesome compared to the Excalibur Equinox. The crossbow is built like a tank but a joy to hold and carry. The bow is paper tune at 20 yards by Barnett and assembly is so easy. Just one screw to assemble the entire crossbow and you are done. “i been looking for a nice bow for a few months and just about every review i was reading on the other brands made me nervous. everyone i talked to about crossbows pointed to ten-point. i looked on all the hunting sites i could find and could not find any complaints that would have detoured me from this purchase.. was easy to assemble, lightweight .. looks nice cannot wait to sight it in and get started. this purchase will open all of deer season for me not just shotgun season every year. Only bad thing was the scope lens cover was cracked .. nothing can be 100% all the time and i am very confident that ten-point will make good on the small defect…

“Bow only took 4 shots to sight in. I love the entire package. The steady eddy made it easy to hold for a good shot. I shot a doe yesterday with my CLS. Awesome penetration. A pass through shot at 32 yards. The arrow took out both lungs and shattered the right front leg. Im sure every shot will be a pass through.
