Bought this bow a few weeks before opener. Very smooth and quiet release! with a 70 pound draw, tight 40 yard groupings are a piece of cake! The trophy ridge sights that come with it are excellent and very easy to sight in. 3 pins is great to beggin with, but i ordered 3 more for dead on accuracy! Overall this is another great bow by Bear Archery, and a deffinate penny saver for the avid hunter!

Honestly, I truly believe this is the best bow you can get for the price. The draw cycle is as smooth as glass and the letoff is great. The only thing that I added on this bow was a set of cir-cuit string silencers and I can honetly say that this bow is whisper quiet. I was really curious to see how this performed next to a BowTech, a company thats notorious for quiet, fast, bows that are “dead in the hand” and this bow came out on top in every category except for speed. But I was most impressed by the dreaded hand shock… there was absolutley NONE. So if you are considering this bow for any purpose, yes, save yourself some money and buy it. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!

I have owned and shot this bow for just over 3 months now. I can honestly say that it is an excellent purchase for anyone wanting to get into compound bow hunting and not willing to spend a fortune.

The bow itself features many high-end features that make it a pleasure to setup and shoot. The only thing that I can complain about on the bow itself is the string. It will stretch and twist and makes the back wall a bit ‘spongy’. A higher end string would be well worth the extra expense.

The included accessories are another story. Certainly someone could take the RTH as is and use it to effectively hunt. There are just a lot of better quality accessories available. Of all the included accessories the quiver is by far the best. The whisker biscuit is tolerable and the D-loop and peep functional. The 3 pin sight is extremely dim and definately needs either replaced or to have a light attached if you’re planning on taking shots in even remotely dim conditions. The stabilizer is an ‘ultra-light’ version and could stand to be heavier to give the bow better balance.

Once I paper tuned the bow I could easily place arrows within a 3″ circle at 40 yards. All in all, money well spent. Happy hunting!
